The
intention
Our site is intended to be an online community for mature civilised
people who wish to connect with each other - people looking for
a permanent relationship, people looking for a casual relationship,
lonely and/or senior people who just want companionship (company
to go to cinema etc etc). The members' profiles will be monitored
for sexual content, offensive/racist/abusive/paedophile
material etc. The posting of such profiles is specifically
against the rules, and people abusing this rule will be banned
from the site and their profile removed.
What we offer
What the site offers is the opportunity for people to contact each
other via messaging. In order to achieve that, members will have
to subscribe.
How we charge for
this
Standard membership is FREE. This enables you to log onto
the site, and peruse the members' profiles. Other members will also
be able to see your profile/details in search results, and Premium
Members will be able to communicate with you.
In order for you to make contact with another
member, you must subscribe, either to:-
1. FIXED MEMBERSHIP - by buying fixed 1/3/6/12 month memberships
giving unlimited access to all facilities for the duration of the
membership.(best for
frequent users), OR
2. QUOTA SYSTEM - buy a minimum quota to be used within
a year with pay-as-you go top-up at any time (best for occasional
users). Quota is used as follows:- Standard Messages.
Each member will be charged 1 quota unit for the first
standard message that he /she sends via the "messages"
section to another member as initiator or the first standard
reply to an initiating message - i.e. the contact messages.
All subsequent messages between these two members are free.
Winks are free.
Chat.
Public chat costs 2
quota units per session (no time limit).
All Online One-to-One Private
Instant Messages are charged at 2 quotaunits
per session. Message Board.
All messages posted to the Message Board are 1 quota unit
each.
The quota will be decremented each time a chargeable facility is
used, and the member will have to buy a further quota as soon as
his quota reaches zero. After one year of membership, he/she will
be required to buy a further minimum quota to be used in that year
(unless he/she has been given unlimited quota under a promotional
scheme)
Refunds
are at the discretion of ONLINE CONNECT Ltd, and only in exceptional
circumstances. NO refunds will be made for memberships which are
terminated due to infringement of the Rules.
In no way do we offer to find "ideal" partners or "perfect
matches", nor offer any guarantee or suggestion of a successful
out-come to any contact that may be made on the site. The
searches will only be as good as the information provided for them,
and it is up to you to make your own judgements based on the information
provided by members in their profiles and in messages. You
and you alone are responsible for the out-come of any contact that
you may make through this site.
The rules are minimal, but we must say that:-
1.
Anyone publishing sexually explicit material (text or photos) in
the public areas of the site, or behaving in a persistently
offensive manner to other members in any of the communities
will be removed with no refund.
2.Anyone publishing commercial material on the site
will be removed without refund.
3.
Anyone attempting to extort money from members by any confidence
trick or scam (e.g. Nigeria Scam) will be removed without
refund
4.
Anyone spamming members with personal or commercial e-mail contact
addresses and/or website URLs, will be removed without
refund
5.
Anyone publishing paedophile material in ANY of the
communities will be removed with no refund
and reported to the Police.
6.
All members should be over 18 years old. Anyone shown to
be under 18 will be removed with no refund.
7.
All members must read and accept the conditions contained Legal

If you cannot or will not accept conditions of membership, then
you must not apply for membership
9. This is a site for making friends,
so be friendly, and above all, ENJOY YOURSELF
